The Company recognises its health and safety duties under the Health and Safety at Work Act 1974, the Management of Health & Safety at Work Regulations 1999 and accompanying protective legislation, and the Directors recognise that they have a responsibility to ensure that all reasonable precautions are taken to provide and maintain working conditions which are safe, healthy and comply with all statutory requirements and codes of practice.
With regard to Covid 19 I can confirm it is ‘business as usual’ for the Eco Facilities Management Limited. However, we have implemented strict housekeeping measures and have provided hygiene awareness training to all staff in the wake of COVID-19 outbreak. We are taking precautions to ensure we do our part in ‘flattening the curve’ and to keep us, our clients and the public safe.
Protective Measures
* Company Employees will be washing their hands with soap more frequently, and spraying car door handles/steering wheels and tools etc with anti-bacterial commercial grade cleaning spray.
* Ensure all hand contact points are cleaned throughout the day including, door handles,
Car handles, Machinery Handles, Equipment, Tools, Harnesses, phones, etc
* We recommend that Handshaking when greeting customers, and co-workers is avoided when possible. Workstations have be re-arranged to ensure social distancing are kept to a minimum of 1m.
* Disinfectant kits/sanitiser has been provided in our work vehicles and home office
* Our factory, admin and manufacturing areas within OFI will undergo daily sanitation and staff will follow strict cleaning guidelines.
* If staff members show symptoms of a respiratory infections such as influenza/covid 19, they are advised to wear face coverings to reduce the chance of you spreading infection to others.
Eco Facilities Management will comply with government guideline on how to deal with covid 19.
